Juan joined the lab as an undergraduate researcher in May of 2021 and will be continuing as a Research Assistant after graduating with a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Biology from Boston University. Besides working with Dr. Kellen Winden, where he studies the dysregulation of the immediate early gene EGR1 in different models of TSC2, Juan keeps himself busy reading unintelligible works on analytic philosophy, playing the guitar, and wandering around Boston.
